ตัวอย่างการใช้ SSVNC กับระบบปฏิบัติการลินิกส์ (Linux)

VNC นั้นคือกราฟิคที่ใช้โปรโตโคล  Remote Frame Buffer (RFB) ข้อดีคือเราสามารถใช้ในการควบคุมคอมพิวเตอร์เครื่องอื่นได้ ในบทความนี้ผมต้องการแสดงตัวอย่างในการ start VNC บน linux แล้วใช้ SSVNC ติดต่อเข้าไป (เพราะว่าเราอาจจำเป็นที่ต้องติดตั้ง Oracle ซอฟแวร์ ผ่าน VNC... เรามาเริ่มกันเลย
-  เช็ค packages บนระบบปฏิบัติการเสียก่อน

- start VNC (กรณีครั้งแรก เราจะพบว่าเราต้องเซต password)

[oracle@oralearning ~]$ vncserver

อย่าลืมตรวจสอบ log ว่ามี error หรือไม่

- หลังจากนั้นเรามาใช้ SSVNC (ผมสมมุติ ว่าผู้อ่าน ดาวน์โหลดและ uncompress เรียบร้อย)

ในโฟลเดอร์ *\ssvnc\Winddows\ เราจะพบ "ssvnc" ไฟล์... จากนั้นคลิก

หลังจากนั้น...
VNC Host Display - คือ ip address ที่ vnc port ผูกติด

Proxy/Gateway - คือคอมพิวเตอร์ที่เราต้องการติดต่อเข้าไป (เพื่อส่ง connection ไปต่อยัง VNC Host)
หมายเหตุ กรณีผมใช้ SSH

- จากนั้นคลิก "Connect" ต่อด้วยใส่ password (ของ User ที่ ssh... กรณีนี้คือพลาสเวิร์ดของ surachart )

ตามด้วยพลาสเวิร์ด ที่เราเซตตอนรันคำสั่ง "vncserver"

- หลังจากนั้นจะพบหน้าจอ... แต่ขึ้นอยู่กับว่าเราติดตั้งอะไรบนระบบปฏิบัติการ (กรณีนี้ผมติดตั้งแบบน้อยที่สุด เลยได้แค่ xterm)

หลังจากติดต่อคอมพิวเตอร์ด้วย VNC ได้แล้ว และไม่มีปัญหาในการเรียก xclock เราก็สามารถติดตั้งฐานข้อมูลออราเคิลได้ตามใจ (เช่น ติดตั้งฐานข้อมูลออราเคิล (Oracle) 11gR2 บน OEL6)
